You crossed my mind today. I miss you so much and I regret that you never met my son. He recently turned 12 and his middle name is Emilio! You guys would have been good buddies! I tell him about you all the time though. I lost a confidant and a best friend all those years ago. You are not and will not ever be forgotten.

I will always remember our Southern Tech AIAS trip to New York City, the suprise birthday party for me at Southern Tech, all of your precious antics as a groomsman in Ed's and my wedding, the sparkle in your eyes and your beautiful smile, the way you always made people laugh, and being the brother that Ed never had. You were one of my best friends and I will always love you. I know you are with the angels in heaven and one day we will meet again. I pray your family finds peace and comfort in God's love.

Emilio,
I cannot believe that you are gone. You were the brother that I never had, for myself and for my family. You touched the heart of every person you ever met. You were a good man, a great friend and amazing brother. I am blessed with all the great memories I have of you. From the early days of our friendship and staying out all night partying, to the heart felt time we spent in Montana for my wedding. You were the one person I could always count on for a drink or a quick visit when I came back to the Boston area, I will miss those times terribly. Thank you Emilio for all you have done not only for myself but my family as well. From this day forward there will always be a void in my life that you once filled.
you will be missed

Emilio, we met many years ago when my son Mike brought you home to share a home cooked dinner. You both were students at BAC back then. Mike said I would like you and how right he was. That night started a warm and loving friendship. I loved you like a son and I flirted with you like the handsome gentle man you were. I will treasure many wonderful memories of dinners together and Mikes wedding trip to Montana. Your smile will always be with me. I love you Emilio and I will miss you always.

The last time I saw Emilio was a few months ago, by chance and good fortune. The stories told today at the memorial and reception felt like a gift; they confirmed and deepened my memories and impressions of him, which were of a gentle, funny and sweet good man as well as of a passionate artist. Emilio seems to have lived his life more and more deeply than many of us and I'll treasure my modest friendship with him all the more for that - Eytan

The news of Emilio's passing has saddened me and my family a great deal. I knew him first as my student, but he quickly became a good friend, as was his nature. His passing has reminded me of how much I miss the friendships that I had in Boston, and the good times we all had together.
We miss him dearly.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Emilio's passing. He was my neighbor in Cambridge for 5 years and he always had a friendly smile and a genuine caring way about him. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I just learned of Emilio's passing from a mutual friend. I had the pleasure of working with Emilio over a period of years. He was always a professional and excellent to work with. We became friends over the years particularly after we learned that we had exactly the same date and year of birth. I still can't grasp it. I will sadly miss him.
