The Horne Family offers our sincere condolences. Our Dad who passed away in 2003 and Ernie were great friends from their days serving Mass together at the Immaculate Conception Church and growing up in the South End. They also enjoyed B.C events together over the years. Our mother, Domenica will remember him fondly and will miss his class notes in the BC Alumni magazine. Again our sympathies to the Handy Family.

Please accept my sincerest sympathies. It was a privilege to work with Ernie and Helen on the Memorial Scholarship. He was a wonderful, warm, and talented man. We even got to play golf together many years ago! Though I am very saddened at this news, I also feel happy to know he is in heaven with Helen and Mary.

To Elaine, Nancy, Ernie, Elizabeth and Joey, all your spouses, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren,
I was very saddened to hear about the death of Uncle Ernie. We all "The Great 8" have very many fond memories of our times spent with you all in between our various AF assignments. In particular, I will never forget when Uncle Ernie, Aunt Helen and Joey visited us in Germany back in 1984. I found the pictures just a few minutes ago from that visit. Uncle Ernie has Jennifer on his shoulders in one pic (she was about 5 and is now 3o) and Joey is holding Eric as an infant (he is now 26). I will always cherish those memories. You are all in our thoughts in prayers! Love and best wishes to you all!
Love,
Patty (Sanford) Wallen
