Fullerton Of Ogunquit, Maine passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Monday, August 18th at the age of 73. Even while battling cancer, Fran kept her sense of humor, spirit, and love for everyone alive and well. She is and will be missed every day. Fran grew up in Arlington, MA and was a graduate of Matignon High School, Class of 1958. As a student at Matignon she enjoyed cheerleading, and spending time with friends. Fran was a resident of Winchester, MA for many years where she raised her two sons, Michael and Kevin. Fran spent years as an enthusiastic supporter and spectator of Winchester sports never missing her boys' soccer, baseball & lacrosse games. She was always there, always head cheerleader for her boys. She was a rock and always someone you could talk to about anything. She was the best mother and friend anyone could ever ask for. In 1995, Fran retired to Ogunquit ME with her loving husband Fred where she was an active member of the community and supported many initiatives such as the Ogunquit Play House, Ogunquit Public Library, Laudholm Farm, the Marginal Way, and Meadowlark Village where she served as President for over a decade. She also supported many other charities and causes personal to Fred and herself. Fran was a very talented quilter and knitter who had the most beautiful and artistic way of putting colors and fabrics together to produce the most amazing quilts and handmade goods. Fran labeled all of her handmade items under the name "Saltmarsh Quilters" and offered her quilts and custom knits to the public. Fran took great pride in crafting quilts and specially tailored items for her loved ones' and friends' special life occasions or for no reason at all other than to tell you how much she cared about you. Fran is survived by her two sons Michael Queenan of Winchester MA, Kevin Queenan of Seattle, WA, her Bichon Frise puppy, Spike, and her two grandchildren Grace Frances Queenan and Cole Brooks Queenan of Winchester, MA and many, many dear friends who loved her very much.
