FRANCIS M. "FRANK" MCDERMOTT

McDERMOTT, Francis M. "Frank" Of Springfield, Virginia, passed away on October 25, 2025, from complications related to Parkinson's disease. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital on August 13, 1957, Frank was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Heavey) McDermott. He grew up in Braintree, Massachusetts, and graduated from Braintree High School, before earning his degree from Boston State College in 1979. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Janet Cullen McDermott; and his siblings, Mary Manning, Ann Cyr, John McDermott and Thomas McDermott. He also will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces and many friends.
