I met Frank when I boxed at The Boston Arena Annex in about 1964ish ..I was a LT-heavyweight and Frank was a heavy weight..I won my first fight there and Frank came over to me and gave me some valuable advice..He was the New England heavy weight champ at the time...I didn't know him but was very impressed that he would help out a stranger..It was good advice..I boxed for a few more years and got out..Way too many managers and promoters getting rich and the fighters getting broke..
RIP Frank...A good fighter and a good guy..

He was so full of laughter and fun to be with. He loved to see me when every our paths crossed. Sorry I missed the wake; I only wished that I had known.

Frank was a friend of my father, Peter Barr Brown, Jr, also a Quincy resident. The last time I saw Frank was when I was a teenager going through troubled times and he had lent a helping hand. He struck me as a kind man and I was sad to have come across his obituary. May he rest in peace.

I grew up in Quincy. My family owned Goldies Junkyard. I knew Frank as both a police officer and corvette enthusiast. While he was tough as nails and the guy to be behind when trouble was around the corner, he was kind and compassionate and an excellent role model to a younger generation. My sympathy to his family.

My deepest condolences to Frank's Family and Friends ; The Lord has reclaimed one of his good ones . I was in the Quincy Police Academy with Frank in '68 while on the Weymouth P.D. and never forgot him , just a real good guy . Met him in Quicy Center while he was on a walking beat in the '80's and saw him at a yard sale at Beechwood Knoll about 2012 , still my old friend . We travelled different paths and I truly wish we had not , I always treasured Frank . Godspeed to a gem of a guy , a good cop , and my buddy forever ....
