GERALDINE MCCARTHY Obituary

McCARTHY, Geraldine Jeri McCarthy loved her family and her friends - McCarthy, Ryan, and New England Telephone Geraldine McCarthy died on August 24, 2021 in West Palm Beach, FL. She was in her 86th year of life. Jeri is survived by her sister, Ann; her nephews, Michael and Edward; and by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and their own families. Jeri is now reunited with her parents, Mary (Ryan) and Henry McCarthy, her brother Henry (Buddy), and her sister Rosemary and countless other members of the McCarthy and Ryan families and her many friends who predeceased her. Jeri enjoyed a successful career as New England Telephone evolved over the years before she retired, first in Boston and later in West Palm Beach. She was active in the Telephone Pioneers of America, founded in Boston in 1911 with 734 members, including Alexander Graham Bell who held membership card No 1. Jeri will be missed – may all who knew her enjoy recalling her life well lived and may her memories be a blessing.
