Gerd Kristine Hawkins

HAWKINS, Gerd Kristine (Hansen) 90 years old of Hanover formerly of Dorchester died peacefully after a long struggle and battle with Parkinson's on October 21st 2010. Gerd was a proud Navy Veteran of WWII. She is predeceased by her loving daughter Kristine Reardon, her sister Else Dahl and long time companion Walter Dolinski. She is survived by her sons Kenneth Hawkins of Weymouth and Arthur Hawkins of Braintree in addition to her four grandchildren Kristin Reardon of Rockland, Ingrid Reardon of Brockton, Sarah Zaslaw of Marshfield and Lucas Hawkins of Hanover. Great grandmother of John Paul, Kyle, Ryan, Laney, Samantha, Caleb, Davianna and her niece Ingrid, prior of Galway, NY. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Gerds' name to St. Joseph Manor, 215 Thatcher St. Brockton, Ma 02302.
