GIULIANO LEONE

LEONE, Giuliano Longtime resident of West Roxbury, formerly of Rocca Pia, L'Aquila, Italy, passed away on November 1, 2024. Beloved husband of Donata (Cioccio) Leone with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. Loving father of Roger Leone and his wife, Julia of Norwood. Devoted grandfather of Amelia Leone and Desmond Leone. Brother of Filomena D'Amato and her husband, the late Reziero D'Amato. Uncle to Edna McGowan-Penney and her husband, Joseph of Dedham, Angela D'Amato of Dedham and the late Rina Bridges and the late Domenic D'Amato. Great-uncle to Robert Pelletier and his wife, Janna of Pennsylvania, Evonne Bridges and her husband, George of New Hampshire, P.J. McGowan and his wife, Erin of Dedham and the late Christopher McGowan. Giuliano grew up in Italy and came to America at the age of 20. After marrying Donata, they lived in the North End of Boston and then settled in West Roxbury. Over the years, he worked at Captain John's Fish Packing, Hersey Products, Westinghouse and Kenney Vaccum. He was a big fan of all the local sports teams. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. Visiting Hours will be held at the P.E. Murray – F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, on Wednesday, November 6, from 4-7 pm. Funeral from the funeral home, on Thursday, November 7, at 9 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
