I knew your mom when I was a Federal Protective Office in Boston and then became a Deputy US Marshal in Houston, Texas. I was however brought up and lived in RI & Mass. She was a very funny and respectful lady who I enjoyed knowing. My wife has recently passed from complications of Dementia; so I understand what she went through. I know that they are both at peace now, and I wish her family all the best.

I was so blessed to have had the opportunity to know Grace. Her name means charm, goodness and generosity and Grace embodied all of these attributes. She was warm, sincere, kind, funny with the sunniest of dispositions. You could tell how much she loved you, Maureen, Dave, Matt, Kelly and Jen. She was an absolute delight! I am so very sorry for your tremendous loss. Rest in peace dear Grace.

My beautiful mother was born August 1, 1940 Malden MA. Her father Hans was an immigrant from Germany when he was a small boy yet he unfortunately passed when she was a teen. Her mom Yvonne was French Canadian and lived to be 99 years old! She graduated from Malden High School in Malden and one of her first jobs was at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA. A few years later in addition to raising 3 children she went to work for the US Marshall's office in Boston, MA. Her coworkers lovingly nicknamed her "mudder". After the US Marshall's office she then went to work at the US Attorney's office in Boston from which she retired at the age of 55.
My mom was a very talented creative person. She was a talented seamstress and loved any craft project. Her most recent endeavors were with wood carving and created many masterful, and intricate carvings. These creations will be proudly enjoyed by her family. My mom also loved animals and any living creature. To say she wouldn't hurt a fly is the literal truth! Over the years she would find her rescuing spiders, ants and....yes... .flies to put them outside so they could live. Her sense of humor was infectious and the enjoyment of many laughs will live on in memories, pictures and videos.
To say I, my husband and children will miss her is an understatement. She will be remembered for the unconditional love and support she gave always without hesitation., She was a beautiful role model and a wonderful person. It was heard from many countless people "your mother is a saint"! Enjoy the peace and rest easy now, we love you!!!!
