Brittany,

I cannot express enough how sad and sorry I am to hear about Greg. I am still in denial that this happened. I have been thinking about you and Carli for the past 2 days since I found out.

The best thing I did was encourage Greg to get on the internet because he met you. You made him so happy.

Don't hesitate call me if you ever need anything.

Oh, Brittany, I just heard ... I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew Greg through you, but it was obvious that you both shared a passion for parenting your daughter, and a profound love of God and for one another. Please let me know if there's anything I can do. You and your family will remain in my prayers ...

I'm so sorry to hear of Greg's passing. I just ran into him last month after not seeing him for many years. In just a 15 minute conversation, he focused on his love for his family and how much pride he had in being a good father. My prayers are with you all.

I’m very sorry to hear about Greg’s passing. It is such a shock when you hear about someone you care about leaving us in the prime of their lives.

I met Greg when I worked at MIT and I instantly liked him for his biting humor and is down to earth realistic view of people and the world around him. As our friendship grew I asked him to help me move one summer and was very pleased that he made the trip all the way to Somerville to help me. I always say keep the friends that help you move. Greg was definitely a keeper.

I always enjoyed hanging out with him and missed our times at MIT and in Maine. He was always good for a laugh and a dose of reality when talking about life. It is no surprise that everyone here feels the same.

Brittany we are very sorry for your loss but please take comfort in the fact that Greg was a good man, well liked by his friends and family and will be missed dearly.

Take care.

Greg always had the amazing ability to light up a room wherever he went. Blessed with the gift of gab and the ability to drop one liners that had you rolling on the floor, Greg was "pure entertainment" wherever he went. (Andrew Dice Clay's got nothing on you, kid!) No one was safe from his sarcasm, and he never missed an opportunity to zing you when he could. Even if you fired back a few pot shots, Greg was quick with the wit and always had the final word.

Maine provided all of us the ability to kick back, blow off steam from work, and have some fun. After our first trip a couple years back I learned that beneath that hard exterior lurked a heart of gold. This past weekend was no different. More idle conversation that further proved his loyality to his family and friends. He was so proud of his wife and daughter, and always kept me in the loop whenever anything exciting was happening. He was grounded and knew how to go after what he wanted. He always had a plan. Greg taught us all many things, but my takeaways are these... Live your life to the fullest and cherish each moment. Don't sweat the small stuff. Make time for friends and family as they become your rock. Our time with Greg was cut drastically short, but he will always live on inside of me and everyone else he touched.

My heart goes out to Britt, Carli and all the family.

Greg Hudson, what a character. I have know Greg for 6 years and he was a great friend. From the minute I met him at the gym I knew that Greg was going to be one of my best buds. He had this way about him that made you feel like you had known him your entire life.
He loved his family and friends very much, especially his daughter Crali and wife Brittany. The world is a better place because of Greg.
If you were ever down Greg had a way of lifting you up and making you feel better.
I will miss all the funny one liners and the crazy text messages he would send me. Greg I love you and will miss you thank you for all the memories I will cherish them.
God bless my brother.

I have only known Greg for a few years but the first time we met (through his good friend/co-worker, Mike Mappes) we instantly bonded. I remember when Mike first told me about Greg, "Rob, Your going to love this guy I work with, he's into everything your into....guns, computers, the gym....I can't wait to introduce you two to each other." And Mike was right. Greg was just like me (only with 100lbs more muscle), and that's where our friendship began and will never end.

Whether it was talking about bodybuilding, shooting, computers, trading scarcastic remarks or jokes, or having pose downs, Greg always knew how to liven up the conversation or mood. I always hated it when he repeated the stories about his younger days, but it was always funnier each time he repeated them. His one liners are something I will never forget and still stick in my mind today. He was sarcastic and arrogant at times, but we always knew the "real" Greg - The most caring and honest person and type of guy that would give anything to help his friends and family out.

This weekend I learned so much from Greg - How to enjoy life, the true meaning of friendship, and living a fulfulling and meaningful life. He always set goals and knew how to accomplish them. Greg cared for his family and friends so much. He loved Brit and Carli so much and always talked about how thankful he was to have them, while on his vacation. Greg loved being on that pontoon boat, and I am glad he got to drive it one more time.

We can all learn from Greg. He was a good family man, a loyal friend, and a mentor to me. He will leave a lasting impression on all of us. He will never be forgotten.

My prayers and deepest sympathies go out to you Britt, Carli, and the rest of Greg's family.

I have had nothing but sleepless nights filed with sadness and sorrow. Greg and I, connected on a level which could never be replaced. On my darkest days; he had a way of : "Instant messaging " into my life and making my world a better place. It was the smallest tidbit's of "twistedness" which i grew a custom to love on a daily basis. We brought out the worst in eachother; and I wouldnt have it any other way. I am going to miss him so much. He will be so sadly missed. My condolances to his entire immediate family. Greg was a loving husband , a great father; and to me a great friend.
