Henry Gibbs Obituary

Henry T. Gibbs, devoted and loving husband for 46 years to Thelma (Grover) Gibbs. Also husband of the late Leah (Mascott) Gibbs. He was President of Gibbs Oil Company and a respected and loved member of his Community. Devoted father of Diane (Gibbs) Poli of Palm Beach FL, Stephen "Jake" Gibbs of Newton MA, and Richard A. Gibbs of Harrison NY; Richard H. Gibbs of Swampscott MA, Randall Gibbs of Houston TX, and the late Joel Gibbs of Wenham, MA. Loving grandfather of David, Kimberly, Jessica, and Haley; Elizabeth and Olivia; Elizabeth, Allison, Jonathan, and Andrew; Danielle, Derek, and Cameron; great-grandfather of Jeffrey and Jared. He is survived by one sister, Shirley Trager of Miami Beach, FL and was the brother of the late Paul Gibbs, Mildred Gordee, and Ruth Goodman. Services will be held on Thurs, Aug 23 at 10:30 A.M. at Temple Beth El at 55 Atlantic Ave, Swampscott, MA & conclude at Temple Seth El Cemetery, Lowell Street in Peabody, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to visit and brunch with the family at Kernwood Country Club in Salem, MA immediately following the interment. Memorial Week will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the No Shore Medical Center Foundation, 81 Highland Av Salem MA 01970 or to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, SALEM

AS A FORMER RESIDENT OF SAUGUS,MASS. IT WAS OUR PLEASURE AS A FAMILY GOING BACK 60 OR 70 YEARS

TO HAVE KNOWN AND TO HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH HENRY AND PAUL .

THE GIBBS BOYS WERE HARD WORKING SICE THEY WERE KIDS. WE WILL MISS HENRY BUT WILL CHERISH FOND MEMORIES OF HIM.
