ISIDORA GUTIERREZ Obituary

Our beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2014, at the age of 71. She was born in Durango, Mexico on May 4, 1943, to Dominga and Cristiano Meraz who have preceded her in death. A homemaker most of her life, she had joy making her wonderful dishes and being surrounded by her family and friends. Her generous spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Isidora is survived by her children and their spouses, Raul Gutierrez and Yolanda, Rachel Perez and Marcelino Perez, and Rebecca and Richard Gomez; her six grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher, Vanessa, Richard Jr., Alexander and Jacob. She is also survived by her siblings, Manuel Meraz, Jose Meraz, Santiago Meraz, Calletana Ariola and Francisca Guillen; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home on Sunday, October 26, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on O Street in Sanger on Monday, October 27, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Sanger Cemetery.
