I watch the video every year because Legacy. com sends me a reminder. I am always most interested in Jimmy and 2 sons with tan lines and non tan lines showing at my brother Kenny's Vermont home in Strafford. VT on their way to swim in the man-made pond.

I have been trying to find my friend Jane on social media for a long time. Finally today i looked for Jimmy. I am in a shock as he is my age and seemed so athletic and healthy. I am so very sorry for Jane, Alby and Michael. Like others, i remember Jimmy always smiling. Alby and my Laura sat in high chairs together, and i believe i took the picture of Alby with his cheeks puffed out filled with food he was saving for later. Layoffs at work, moved to Hopkinton far from her, then to Scituate now in NH. Life has put a long distance between us. Our deepest sympathy with prayers for Jane and the boys.
Pearl Masciulli and family.
P.s. Every winter i still wear the red fur headband Jane gave me at xmas and think of her as i wonder if she still wears her black and white one. ❤

I am not sure why I googled Jim's name today. I am saddened to learn that he has passed. I played football with Jim at Boston University and considered myself a friend of his. Jim was a determined, tough player, with a great big personality. I have many recollections of Jim but one that stands out was my very first varsity play at B.U. A player was hurt and I came in. Jim offered some supportive comments to me that gave me confidence in that nervous moment. Truly a great guy and a great loss.
My sincerest condolences to his family,
Rick Porter

To the family and friends of Coach Jim Bennett, kindly accept my belated condolonces.
Jim was my high school football coach at Bridgewater-Raynham in '74, '75, and '76. He was tough, yet compassionate, strong on fundamentals, always pushing us to give all we had, to never give up, to always play each down one-hundred percent to the whistle. He and Coach Tim Driscoll taught me and many others life lessons of perseverance, discipline, and determination, even in the face of certain defeat to a superior opponent.
Thanks for those lessons, Coach. I'll see you on the other side of eternity.

Dear Jane and family,
I am so sorry to be so,so,so,late, but I did not know. Steve Sarno was sorry to be 15 Months late; I am 27 months late.
I was out sick from work this past Friday, October 12,2018 and looking through boxes of photos from my brother,Kenny, who died in 1990, and came across many photos from 79 Gibbs St, Norwich VT, Brookline MA, Strafford Vt.,and my going away party at Nancy and Eugene's in Wayland MA; I was moving to California where I still live.
I thought; let's see what Kenny's friends are all up to now.
Jimmy's obituary came up, slayed me,and saddened me to my core. I am still in disbelief. I know now it was over two years ago.
Jimmy was one of the actual really, really, good guys in this world. I am beyond sad and cannot imagine how difficult it was for you and your sons.
With Love, Claire Hendry

Two days ago, some 15 months after the fact, I learned that Jimmie died. I am stunned. Jimmie and I went to high school together. We were friends. My sophomore year my folks moved to Medford, maybe a half mile from Jimmie's house. So Jimmie and I would do stuff together, go to games, dances, parties and what not. We got to know each other well. At school we sat in the same chairs at the same table for lunch during those years. We even sat at the same table at our 20th and 40th class reunions. Jimmie was a good guy, honest, straightforward, no bull. He will be sorely missed. My sincere, if belated condolences to his wife and family.

I just found out the sad news of my friend Jimmy passing, this is a sad day. Jim and I went to high school together over forty years ago. We were teammates on the football and baseball teams and even double dated to the prom, most of all we were best friends. He was a good person that brought light into the world. I was welcomed into his family as a young man, I became a better person because of that interaction. I travelled quite a bit and we lost touch. To this day he is in my heart. Our lives are measured by the impact we leave on this world, I want his family to know Jimmy made a big impact on all who met him. My love and thoughts to Jim's family and friends

Dear Jane, I have no explanation why I checked the obituaries today and was so shocked and saddened to see Jimmy's name. Although we haven't seen each other since our kids were small, think of you both often. Debra and I just spoke about you both the other day. Please know what great memories I have of Jimmy with his infectious laughter and sunny disposition. My deepest sympathies to you and your entire family. A good soul taken too soon. Much love Bernadette (Bernie) McCool

I just found out about Jimmy & am completely speechless and beyond saddened by the loss of such an incredible guy who I have known and been great friends with ever since college, We had so many laughs and this picture epitimizes what Jimmy was all about. Life is about laughter & so is love! He & Jane, Ron & I and many of our friends shared a lot of wonderful times together & my only regret is that I didn't see him more! Jimmy, I have always loved you for who you were and how much you loved to make fun of everyone but never hurt anyone in doing so. You will be sorely missed and never replaced, because that would not at all be possible! One of a kind, for sure! All my love!!! jane, we will all be here for you!!

I had the pleasure of knowing Jimmy at Matignon HS and playing ball with him. He was always happy-go lucky but so intense on the field or court! I also kept up with him at bit when he attended BU. I was just at the Cape for a week but had to return home yesterday. I wanted to attend the viewing but obviously could not but in your memory I drove around the rotary at the funeral home on my way to the airport yesterday. I know he lived life to the fullest and I know his family is saddened by his passing. Rest in peace Jimmy and God bless your friends and family.

I first met Jim when Laraine took me to watch Jim play football at Boston University when I was very young. Jim was my "idol" at a very impressionable age, and along with Laraine had such a positive impression on me that lasted a lifetime. God bless your family. Dan, Denise, Danniele and Tim Conceison.
