JAMES B. CAHALANE Jr.

CAHALANE, James B. Jr. Of Walpole, formerly of Falmouth, Norwood and Needham, passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 76, after a brief illness. Beloved husband of 50 years to Kathleen (Diggin) Cahalane. Devoted father of Erin Fruci and her husband, Luigi and Gregory Cahalane, all of Walpole. Cherished papa of Connor and Ronan Fruci. Son of the late James B. and Julie (Mulvihill) Cahalane. Loving brother of Nancy Plunkett (Christopher) of Topsfield, Mary Louise Rees (David) of Clinton and Joan Flaherty (Frank) of Darien, CT. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Graduate of CM and BC, received his MBA from Babson and was a former Mitre employee. He was an avid sports fan, particularly golf, and was a former member of Quashnet Valley Country Club in Mashpee. Some of his happiest moments were spent at Chappy Beach, Falmouth. The family would like to thank Dr. Gregory Allam, neurology at South Shore Hospital, for his compassionate care and efforts. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 2 to 5pm, at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., NORWOOD, MA. Funeral from the Funeral Home on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 9:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30am, at St. Mary's Church, E. Walpole, MA. Burial will be private and at a later date.
