Dear Grogan Family - It is with great shock and surprise to learn of Jimmy's passing. We went to middle school together.. Patrick T. Campbell in Dorchester. We reconnected at the Dedham Health Complex where we shared many memories of our childhood. Jimmy was a 'happy-go-lucky' guy, always cracking jokes. He will remain in my heart a very pleasant memory of the past. His friendship surpassed racial and ethnic boundaries. 'Rest In Peace' Jimmy.
Leonard Dent, Dorchester, class of 1957. I'll miss you.

To Jimmie's Family, You have my heartfelt sympathy. Jimmie was a star member of the Mission High Class of 1962. Even as a kid in high school, he was always a gentleman, he would keep us laughing all the time. He was kind and caring, and to me a good friend. As an adult he kept the World a better place, first serving in the military and second as a Brookline policeman. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
