We always cherished jim as he was always so kind, so funny, and most of all very generous and always helping out. He raised us like his own family ever since we came from Puerto Rico, and he made sure that the kids were always okay mentally, emotionally and financially. We are more than great full that he came into our lives because he´s taught us patience, love, and most of all he´s taught us to always to be kind to anyone and everyone because you may never know who´d you come across. He has been the greatest individual to each and everyone one of us to the kids Stephanie, Anthony, Raymond and myself (Zenaida+Jose). He has always made sure the kids were achieving their goals in life and also making sure Jose and I were okay as well. Grandpa jim loved his trips to New Hampshire and we made sure that every weekend or so he had a trip there, so that he´d get his errands done who doesn´t love tax free ! I will always cherish every moment that was spent with him whether it was at New Hampshire, cituate, and other road trips, even trips to the supermarket, his favorite dollar tree and of course the walks we have around the north end. He´d always share the history of the north end and Boston and every other places we visit with him because he knew so much! He loves his history and we can´t forget that lovely homemade spaghetti and meatballs he made for us. We will all miss him and his laugh and his wonderful repetitive stories of how he loved holding the kids Raymond, Anthony and Stephanie in his arms, and always says he was going to make sure they make it and that they are nothing but happy. We are all so happy to have had him in our lives; he was such a huge blessing to us as we were to him. It´s nothing but 30 years of family time and love that was brought to him from us to him. We love him and always will. He deserves the world; thank you so much grandpa jim for everything you have done for us we will miss you extremely.

Rest In Peace, love The Colon + Irizarry family.
