Hi Jan....Went to Shaw's today (you know I'm there every day)...Just so hard but today it seemed harder as I was thinking how very much I miss seeing you walking Redstone and going to the Gulf gas station.......I have to tell you that when I read your "Happy Birthday" wishes..I got a chill as my birthday is October 2nd too....ALL these years knowing each other from the North End moving onto Stoneham and we never talked about OUR birthdays...NOW I know just how much we liked to chat together because we never gave each other a chance to talk about our birthdays...For sure from today on, my birthday will include my prayer for YOU....Rest in peace as I know how very much you loved your family and grandson and how he will learn about the love you have for him.

I met Janis about 20 years ago. We shared a lot of laughs and good times together. She always had a smile on her face and she was a lot of fun to be with. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her family was always her first priority. She adored her children & grandson. She was the most devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She worked hard and was a person you could count on.
I was lucky to have her for my friend and I will always cherish her smile and all the fond memories I have of her.
May God keep her in his care now, and help all of you at this most difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Uncle Wozzy, Danielle, Anthony, and Joseph,
As we have all gone through this very difficult week together, I was thinking back on all of the times I have had with Aunty Janis. My mom and her were pregnant together so I guess it all began then. It was always, my mom, Danielle, Aunty Janis, and me doing a lot of fun, girly things together growing up. I know she will still be with us every day though. Not many people are as kind as she was-she is by far a guardian angel for our family who will be missed every single day. I promise to keep her memory alive when my son Devin plays with Joseph, and I will tell him all the funny special things about his Nana. Dear Wozniak family....There are not enough words to describe the kind of person Janis is! So kind hearted...so caring...qualities you don't see in today's "world"....She will be so missed by so many people that she touched...Knowing her as kids in the North End to the spectacular women I met when I moved to Stoneham 10 years ago. I will miss the talks and walks at Redstone and D.D. Scratching our tickets at the gas station...Chatting about that gorgeous new grandson that she so loved. walking him in the warm weather. How proud was she to show him off at Shaws!!!!! My you find comfort by the outpouring of love Janis showed everyone..She is now resting (although I'm sure she's walking about in Heaven)....She's not suffering anymore and watching from above to protect all of you that she loved so very much....Stay strong and stay close to one another as she would want! God needed a very special angel as Lent begins and she will be forever with the Lord... You are all in my prayers.....God Bless...
