Jeanette Latimer Obituary

LATIMER, Jeanette M. Of Needham, died on Monday, January 3, 2011. She was 74. Born in Pondville, Nova Scotia, Canada, to the late Linwood and Florence (Dunphy) Latimer, Jeanette immigrated to the United States with her family in 1952. She graduated Watertown High School and proceeded to Bridgewater State College where she earned a degree in education. Jeanette taught in the Boston School System for most of her career. Jeanette was an avid walker and enjoyed hiking in the White Mountains. Jeanette also enjoyed traveling having hiked through parts of Europe and Asia in addition to travel across Canada and the United States. Jeanette is survived by her sister Vivian Keerd of Pondville South, Nova Scotia, and children Michael Cooper of Needham, Carol Mondello of Gloucester and Denis Ingham of Framingham. Jeanette also leaves behind five grandchildren; Shay, Tyler, Kevin, Kara and William. Jeanette will be buried in a private ceremony in Arichat, Nova Scotia, Canada. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
