Dear Lisa, I hope you are all well. I miss your Mom and think of her often. We shared some wonderful times together and I know how much she loved you all. I can not even think how old Louie is now - he was your Mom's special love! The best to you all and it is just a shame we lost your Mom so soon. Always, Peggy

Dear Lisa and Louie,
I feel like I've known you both all of Louie's life, because Joanne was such a dear friend to me and such a doting grandmother. My own son was about the same age and I feel like they grew up together, because Joanne and I shared so many stories.
She has been greatly missed around here since she left Harvard, and I send you my most heartfelt condolences. Know that we all loved her dearly.

Dear Family of Joanne,
From the day I first joined Harvard, Joanne was so friendly and so easy to know - she always stopped by to chat with my daughter and son when I brought them in, or admire their childish drawings I had hung on the wall, or offer stories about her grandson. My kids and I will always have fond memories of her, and how she treated everyone as equally deserving of friendship. Thank you Joanne, and thank you to her loving family

Dear Lisa, I will always regret not keeping in closer touch with your mom - she was the best - we shared many many good times - had some special talks and lunches at the Cheese Cake Factory - and compared stories about our beloved grandsons. She spread love and warmth that touched so many. And, Louie, remember how much your Grandmother loved you. I will be keeping her memory and smile in a special part of my heart. Dear Lisa and Louie,
My deepest sympathy , I loved your Mom ,she was my favorite Aunt she always made me feel loved, she was always full of life. I regret my disconnect from my family roots and time lost. From the times when I was little going to beaches and parties and go cart racin to parks and just sleeping over, watching hee haw and lawrence welk show, til time I went in military your Mom always made it fun and perfect, and it was all about love and family. Now your Mom is in Heaven watching over her family she loves so much. I love you Auntie Joanne, your nephew Donny

I am so sorry to hear of Joanne's passing. I would see her up in the lunchroom every day at work. She always had a smile and spoke at length about her family (especially her little grandson). Joanne also took great pride in putting up the seasonal decorations in the lunchroom, which everyone at work enjoyed. She will be greatly missed. You are all in my thoughts & prayers.

Lisa and Louie,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It was a pleasure to have known her. I saw her as a true matriarch; strong, convicted, and completely committed to her children and beloved grandson. On several occasions she opened her beautiful home to me and shared her warm hospitality, which I so enjoyed. I have always admired the closeness among you; your devotion to your mom and her's to you. It felt very special and I can only imagine how difficult this time is for you all now. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Peace and love.

Joanne made Harvard and the world a better place. Her thoughfulness and kind heart were expressed so effortlessly, one of the many ways was how she decorated the lunchroom--warm, fun and inviting; not forgetting to mention her cakes, they were beautiful-just like her.
