Ran into Paul at Roches just after Christmas. So sorry to hear about Jackie (my Manning School classmate) and the passing of Robert and Dollie, who was a good friend of Martha C's. Great memories of school, growing up, weekend skating at Larz Anderson's. The Devaneys are such nice folks. Paul and Noreen, peace be with you and may fond memories keep warm your hearts.

I´m so sad for the Devaney family. I hope your very best memories with Jack will help you through this most difficult time. Jackie was a great guy with a huge heart, he would truly give you the jacket off his back!! Rest In Peace my friend, you will certainly be missed.

Jack's friendship & presence in our lives was a blessing. He treasured his car and was often found outside on a sunny day shining to perfection. We shared a lot of talks and laughs when he offered to drive me to my eye appointments, reminding me to bring sweater & sunglasses. Joey our chihuahua adored him - and he's very selective, Jack would break into a big smile when Joey went running to see him, covering him with doggy kisses. He is missed terribly and there is a great emptiness in our hearts for this man who became part of our family. Our prayers for peace & strength go out to the family. We believe Jack is reunited joyfully with his mother in heaven.
