I can't even imagine what you all have been going through for the past couple of weeks. Please know we are here for you no matter what time of day or night. John treated me like a son on and off of the job. I have never had, nor will I ever have a boss, mentor and friend like him. From the first day I met him, he treated me that way. When my dad was going through a difficult time and needed help, he was also there in many ways. Please know the impact he has had on our family. Uncle Johnny, you were like a second father to me. You only lived right down the road from us and I know we called you often but it was because you had a solution for everything. I never knew anyone who accomplished more in their life than you. When I received my Confirmation in high school, I wanted someone to sponsor me who had honor, dignity, and above all else, was perfect in every way. Of course your name came right to mind and it is one of my best memories of you. I'll miss you always and will definitely teach my kids all of the things you taught me.
