Carol P. (Slocum) Reebenacker, 77, passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2026

at her home in Haverhill. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert "Bob"

Reebenacker in 2020.

Carol was born in Brockton on September 23, 1948 and was the daughter of the

late George W. and Betty V. (Owens) Slocum, Jr. Carol grew in Foxborough. She

attended Northeastern University and earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree

from Harvard Extension School in 1986. Carol worked for many years as an

account executive for various energy and electricity companies including most

recently, Flynn's Petroleum LLC and All Mass Energy. Carol was also a member

of the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce. Carol enjoyed spending time with family and friends, had a love for travel as she and Bob traveled all over the world. Carol loved cooking, reading and delighted in a good crossword puzzle. Carol had a generous heart and was always willing to go out of her way for her dear friends and family.

Carol is survived by her daughter Alicia Reebenacker of San Francisco, nephew

John Behen, Jr. and his wife Ann of Danvers, her niece Cristin (Inglis) Coke &

husband Hartwell of Shacklefords, VA; and her sister Debbie Slocum and husband

Marshal Root of Westport, CT, brothers David Slocum of Framingham, Jeffrey

Slocum of PA and Mark Doiran of North Attleborough. She is also survived by her sister-in- laws, Marjorie Behen and Dorothy Hunt of Lynn, MA. Carol is

predeceased by her sister Jeannie Salter and brother George Slocum and brother

Scott Doiron. Carol also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews as well

as a wealth of close friends from all parts of her life.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday,

April 25th from 10AM until 12PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486

Main Street, Haverhill. Burial will be private at a later date.
