McCARTHY, John F. "Jack" Of Milton, formerly of Hyde Park, peacefully Sept. 19th. Beloved husband of the late Anna M (Lang). Devoted father of Christine "Tina" Killeen of Derry, NH & her late husband, James, James P. & his wife, Asa of NC, David B. of Walpole & his wife Cheryl A. and the late John F. McCarthy, Jr. Brother of Geraldine Boutin of Middleboro, William McCarthy of Hyde Park and the late Margaret Lang, Eileen Forsyth and Robert & James McCarthy. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass at St. Pius X Church, Milton, Friday at 10 AM. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., MILTON, Thursday 4 to 8pm. Interment private. Retired 36 year Boston Fire Dept. Firefighter and Inspector. Co-founder of the Village Forge, Readville. WW II Navy Seabee veteran. A man of wit and Irish charm who possessed loving values, a legendary work ethic and valued his family above all else. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Operation Homefront, 21 Franklin St., Suite 2, Quincy, MA 02169
