JOHN "JACK" SLOCUM

SLOCUM, John "Jack" Jack died peacefully, in Hingham, on January 31. Jack was the loving husband to the late Elizabeth Connaughton Slocum. He is survived by his five cherished children, Elizabeth (Stephen Markesich) of Kingston, MA, Martha of South Weymouth, MA, John (Ann Quinton) of Concord, MA, Thomas (Judy Dudley) of Bellingham, WA and Dean (Kerry Lynch) of Dartmouth. Adored grandfather to his ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the Visiting Hours on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 2-4 PM, in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH, at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM, on Monday, February 10, 2025, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth, at 10 AM. Private inurnment to be held at St. Columba's Catholic Cemetery, Middletown, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Rhode Island Community Food Bank or to the John L.
