John Wiseman Obituary

Of Winchester on February 7, 2005. Beloved husband of Margaret (Shanahan) Wiseman. Loving father of John R. III & wife Susan of Winchester, Jane M. of Boston and Christine J. Goodale of Arlington. Devoted grandfather to Jack, Mackayla & Caitlin. Dear brother of Joan & Tom McCarthy of Winchester, Father Denis V. Wiseman OP., Kevin R. & Dottie of MD, Helen J. of Arlington, Michael J. of Arlington, Daniel F. & Maureen of Arlington, Brian M. of Arlington, Brenda M. & Colin Regan of Cohasset and the late Robert Wiseman. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. A Funeral Service will be held from the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St (Rte 38) WINCHESTER, on Friday, February 11th at 9 AM Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Eulalia's Church, Winchester, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral home on Wednesday, February 9th from 3-7pm. Interment Wildwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Scholarship fund for Lay students at the Weston Jesuit School of Theology, 3 Phillips Pl., Cambridge, MA 02138. Dear John,

I am so sorry to hear about your father. A dear friend of mine sent me this poem when my sister passed away last November. It helped me through a very difficult time so I thought I would share it with you during your very difficult time.
