JOSEPH ALIBRANDI Obituary

ALIBRANDI, Joseph F. Age 85, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Norwood Hospital. He was the son of the late Phillip and Grace (DiPietro) Alibrandi. Joseph was born in Boston on August 29, 1931. He was a native of Roxbury and a graduate of Boston College High School, Class of 1947 and Boston College, Class of 1952, where he later went on to earn his Master's Degree. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He and his wife Ann were married at St. Joseph's Church in Hyde Park on July 21, 1968. He has been a Foxborough resident since 1974.Joseph was a retired Vice President of BayBank in Dedham. He retired after twenty years of service in 1993. He was an avid bowler and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved the fall, especially because he loved to rake leaves. He loved traveling with his family and enjoyed visits to the Irish Village in Cape Cod. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Beloved husband of Ann M. (Sullivan) Alibrandi. Loving father of Annmarie Ryan and her husband Thomas, Jr. and Paula Feeney and her husband William, all of Foxborough. Devoted grandfather of Liam, Joseph and Lillian Feeney. Brother of Concetta Aliberte and her husband Enrico of Malden, Ma and Larry Alibrandi of Gilbert, AZ and Mary Alibrandi of Malden, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Foxborough.
