JOSEPH DOHERTY

DOHERTY, Joseph Of Norwood, passed away peacefully at home on December 22, 2020 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Frances T. (Doyle) Doherty. Devoted father of Mary Ann Graham and her husband Robert of Uxbridge, Joan Giffels and her husband Kenneth of Mansfield, Cathy Casey and her husband Seán of Cohasset, Barbara Doherty of West Bridgewater and Elizabeth Doherty and Erich Prinz of South Boston. Son of the late Joseph and Ann (Joyce) Doherty. Brother of the late Mary Frances Scannell, Rev. William J. Doherty, MS, Walter Doherty and Barbara Doherty. Cherished grandfather of Mary Beth, Michael, Timothy, Allison, Jennifer, Kevin, Kathleen, Patrick and Josephine. Also survived by great-grandchildren Luke and Audrey and many nieces and nephews. Joseph was a retired Pharmacist for the Dept. of Correction for 36 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #252, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, Norwood Elks and Norwood Retiree's Club. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 2-5pm at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., NORWOOD, MA. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery Norwood, MA.
