I am So Sorry to hear of Joe's Passing.
I got to know Joe at meetings of The New England Rose Society when we held them at The Waltham Field station. I always enjoyed his company, and talking about different plants and natural foods with him. I haveMany fond memories of him.

At a NERS Rose sale Joe gave my husband and I several pieces of some of his epypelium(spelling off) We planted them and now we have about 20 of the most beautiful plants. When they first bloomed I sent him pictures and when next I saw him I almost cried when he said I was the first person ever to send him pictures of the results of his donations. I will remember him with affection and respect. He was a valuable member of the New Eng. Rose Society alway will to give a hand. Marion Cafferky

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. The New England Rose Society just got word. If there is anything that we can do just let us know.
I remember fondly of Joe bringing me things from his garden, and telling me about Stevia for my diabetes. Joe use to bring Pot Luch dishes to our rose society meetings. We will miss Joe very much.

Hey Dad I'm going to miss you, I hope you are in a better place, tending to your garden, enjoying a good meal and reconnecting with old friends and family! We did not have enough time together, we waited far to long to reconnect but I am glad for the time we did have and you will always be a big part of me and my life. I love you dad and I will miss you, but you will never be forgotten!

Love your son Charles.

Joe was a "Dziadzui" (grandfather) to my daughter Josselyn, and a great friend to my entire family. I will miss our conversations about Stiva and his pantyhose project. Love to his family.
