I met Joe when I was just a teen-ager. It is fair to say that he left a lasting impression. Clearly, he is one of the good guys. To my friend Ruth and all of her family I hope that your grief soon bridges over to happy memories.

It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Vitale when he came to Weymouth Healthcare. He was the kind of guy who you immediately liked from word one. Unfortunately I was not at Weymouth Healthcare when he passed but I just wanted you to know he touched us in the short time we got to spend with him. Jeff wanted me to send his condolences also. Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Aunt Gil and the Whole Vitale Family,
I'm so sorry -- we'll all miss him always. Our get togethers will be much too quiet without his booming voice and energy!
Love,
Steph

I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to your family. Having known Joe for the past couple of years, I grew to appreciate his intelligence, political passion, and his love for his family and friends. I will miss our near-daily telephone interactions. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Dear Family, Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. As Joe's nurse over the past year I came to know and love Joe. He came into my life as a reminder of my dear father. Joe had his eyes and his great love of food. Whenever I saw Joe he was a comforting reminder of my Dad, and for that I am ever greatful. I share your losss. I am so sorry. All my love Nancy.
