Joseph VITELLO Obituary

VITELLO, Joseph A. Of Reading, formerly of Medford and Winchester. Passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, with family by his side, after a long illness. Loving brother of Josephine Vitello, the late Sam Vitello and the late Rose Comeau. Beloved son of the late Gerardo and Sarah Vitello. Dear Uncle of Diane Amerault, Denise and Bill MacPhail, Stephen Comeau, Ralph and Becky Comeau; and many great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Joe was a fan of the Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox, and enjoyed watching Westerns on television. Visiting Hours will be held at the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St. (Rte. 38), WINCHESTER, on Monday, July 14, from 10-11:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary's Church, Winchester at 12pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to The Catholic TV Network (Bishop Reed), P.O. 9196, Watertown, MA 02471 or to a charity of your choice.
