Of Walpole, formerly of West Roxbury, June 25, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Anne M. (Burke) Wilkinson. Devoted father of Joanne Wilkinson-Dorsey, M.D. and her husband Joseph Dorsey, M.D. of Walpole, Joseph P. Wilkinson and his wife Maureen of Brockton, Timothy J. Wilkinson and his wife Mayumi of Sudbury, and Thomas J. Wilkinson of Framingham. Dear brother of George Wilkinson of Newton, Catherine Coburn of West Hartford, CT., Irene Wilkinson of Charlotte, N.C., and the late Maureen Maris of CA. Mr. Wilkinson also leaves 13 loving grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Funeral from P.E. Murray-George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on Friday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Theresa's Church, West Roxbury at 10:00. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Mr. Wilkinson,
Sir, I didn't know you, but as a fellow Marine, I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC during World War II. It was men like you and your fellow Marines who left a legacy that we still try to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
