I met Josh when I was a sophmore in highschool, when he was a senior. He became my best friend, the one who I talked to about everything. He had a witty sense of humor, and could brighten up my worst day, by a simple hello. He had a way to make everything that was going wrong in my life, ok. I will never forget all the times we spent together, especially the summer before he died. He is forever in my heart. It's been almost 5 years since he's passed, and it seems like it was just yesterday when we were together. I will never forget you Josh. I love you more than anything. Rest in peace.

I want to show my strongest sympathies towards the Simons's family and their beloved lost son. I personally remember Josh since 8th grade, always teasing me about something that always made me laugh. He always made me feel happy, especially when he worked with me at Stop and Shop. Even though I was shy to talk to people when he was alive, he always made me feel confident and happy about myself; there was no-one like him.
My sympathies go to the Simons's family and that Josh is peacefullly at rest. He will always be remembered and loved.

On behalf of the Simons family I, Howie, would personally like to thank all the people who have written beautiful words, thoughts, and memories about Joshua. It is comforting for all of us to know how much he was loved. Josh was a fun kid. He enjoyed being with all his friends very much. I have had the pleasure of meeting some of you over the years. Josh is truly missed. Josh lives in mine and everybody’s heart. I will remember the great times we shared and cherish them forever. Josh definitely had the ability to lighten up the room with his personality and his hair style. Josh also enjoyed his music, and loved to play his guitar. Josh loved and cared for his family very much. He was best friends with Jason, a big brother to Jacqueline, and a good son to his mother and myself. I can not find any other words to better describe him. Josh rest in peace. I love you! Love Dad.

Josh was an amazing person; Fun-loving, loyal, energetic, forgiving. He never spoke a bad word about anybody. He loved life, even though it wasn't perfect, he made the most of every moment he was given. Josh was the type of person who could always make you smile. His charismatic personality lit up any room he walked in to. The best way to describe Josh is with a quote from an idol of his. "I see myself as a huge fiery comet, a shooting star. Everyone stops, points up and gasps "Oh look at that!" Then- whoosh, and I'm gone... and they'll never see anything like it ever again... and they won't be able to forget me- ever." -- Jim Morrison. Josh was loved and will truly be missed. My thoughts and sympathy go out to his family.
