We won´t be attending the memorial because we will be in Costa Rica which I´m sure Jules would have loved.
I have fond memories of the stool project and his humor and quality are in my thoughts as I work at Lexart

As a fellow "woodie", as we often refer to ourselves in our woodworkers' guild, I gained a respect for Jules' expertise, and for his fondness in sharing that expertise. When he offered a class in "stool making" I wasn't sure what we were in for, but I signed up. Off we went on a road trip to buy lumber in New Hampshire, then lessons on how to tune a band saw for cutting veneer, and on and on, for weeks. My stool never was finished, but the camaraderie and his dry wit made the experience a joy.
Jules, you never taught me how to make that half hull you said you would. I will miss you.
