Hobbs Family,

I had the pleasure of working with Kevin at Talula here in Miami, As people in the industry know, a new person at a restaurant is very much "the new kid in school" Kevin was the first one to come up to me and "chat me up", he was the first one to give me the ins and outs and help me when everyone was too busy to notice. I always looked forward to working with him because he had a way of making me laugh and making the most boring night fun. I always smiled when people came in and would only accept having him at their table, no matter if they had to wait at the bar with me : ) He was the type of person everyone wanted to be around, because of his blunt honesty and incredible wit and HUGE heart. I feel very blessed and lucky to have gotten the change to know such a unique person. My prayers are with you.

Dear Hobbs Family, I moved to Miami not knowing anyone and Kevin truly made me feel so welcome and offered me so much support as a settled into my new life. I worked with him for a year and everyday he demonstrated such an excitement and passion for life. He truly had a gift of making other people happy. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

I also have many fond memories of Kevin; he was such a cute boy who grew up into a handsome man and left an amazing impression on everyone he came in contact with. My contact with Kevin in the past few years were few and far between, when I did see him, it was as if no time had passed. He was such a fun lovable man that will not be forgotten.
Deepest of Sympathy,

The hobbs family practically took me in as their daughter. Through the time that I was there I had spent a great deal of time with Kevin. Kevin is one the greatest people that I have met. He had his own lanquage haha, was kindhearted and was just as cooky as me. I will always remember the days Cookie, Kevin, Jim and I would just sit in the kitchen or the living room and just all act crazy. For all of you that know kevin's mother, you know he gets his crazy and vivatious ways from his mom. He is a star that will last for eternity, so just look in the sky and find peace. He is up there watching over all of those that he loved and loved him. I will always remember and miss Kevin. Hope you find peace in this hard time. I love all of you.

My deepest hearfelt sympathy for your loss. Although I haven't seen Kevin in a long time, I could never forget him and all the fun we had as kids; going to see movies at the 'Flick' and hanging out in the neighborhood. To the Hobbs:
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May wonderful memories of Kevin warm your hearts. I have so many fun memories of Kevin. He was one of my best friends throughout elementary school- I have so many pictures of us on field trips and at birthday parties. He loved his family so much- I remember how excited he was to become an uncle when Angela was born! and how much fun we had bothering Jim! I also remember how proud he was the day his dad came to the dutile to give us a tour of his mac truck! Kevin will be missed by so many! Love, Stephanie

My deepest heartfelt sympathies go out to all of Kevin's loved ones and friends at this difficult time. I met Kevin in the sixth grade. He was someone that once you met him, you could not get enough of him. He made me laugh a zillion times. He was a kind hearted human being. We hadn't seen each other in about fifteen years, but I never forgot him. And I never will. May your memories sustain you, and your support for each other carry you through.

Jim, Cookie, Howie, and Cheri Words cannot describe how sorry we are for your loss. Kevin always made me laugh one of the stories that Kevin told that sticks with me is when he worked at the Cafe Escadrille lol I still laugh when I think of Kevin telling the story of the woman who thought she was hailing a bus ( that Kevin later told off ). We are so glad that we had the pleasure of knowing Kevin he was an amazing person and we will sadly miss him. Jim If you need anything please call us Love ya, Jeff & Nicole xoxoxo
