Of Arlington, Nov. 30, 2006. Husband of Mary Jane (DeMarco) Hough. Father of Jeffrey A. Hough of New York City, Brian M. Hough and his wife Kristen of Somerville, Eric J. Hough of New York City, and Sean W. Hough of Arlington. Brother of Maureen Teeven of Burlington, James Hough of Revere, and William Hough of Stoneham. Nephew of William Hough of Somerville. Kevin is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Tyler Crotty and Aidan Hough, and many nieces and nephews. Lieutenant for Somerville Fire Department, Local 76, for 33 years. Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington, Tuesday Dec. 5 at 8:30am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Agnes Church, Arlington at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Somerville Firefighters Scholarship Fund, 266 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02145. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. Kevin lived for his family and his work. He loved his wife, his boys, his grandchildren and being a fireman. Kevin wore his uniform and did his job with great pride. His loss will leave a hole in our family that can never be filled. We will love and miss Kevin always and know he is at peace now. Our hearts go out to Mary, Jeff, Brian & Kristen, Eric and Sean at this sad time. Know that we are here for you.

Maryjane and family, so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. The first time I brought Tyler to see Santa up in Reading center, he was 6 months old.Kevin had asked if he could go. He touched me with his kindness and how he looked at Tyler he was so interested in every face or noise Tyler made. You could see how much he was loved by his PaPa.
Now he is at peace.
