Hi Kevin. It's me, Michaela. I cannot believe that you went to heaven. I wish that you were still at Good Health, that way when my mom and I came in to buy organic apples and such, I would get to see you and laugh at your funny jokes in an English accent, which i soon adopted in my two years or so of working with you. I would wear Gino's scully cap that said Irish on the front and pretend I was from London. Your the one who got me into the jalapeno cheese sauce with the organic crackers. They are so good! You also taught me how to do pretty much everything at Good Health even the melting of plastic wrap around bulked mango slices. I am so glad that I got the opportunity to know you as an adult (since we did go to the same church for a while when i was younger) because you were an inspiration. You always knew how to get me in a happy mood, when I had a bad day. You even teased me about my recent boyfriend, Matt, who I am with currently(almost 2yrs) which showed you really did care about me. Thank you for being an honest and caring human being. It means a lot to me. I will miss you Kevin, always.

P.S remember that time I pretended I had a bloddy nose with a leaky red sharpey marker? You got so scared! It was too funny. I will miss our inside jokes.

Love Always,

Michaela B. Dunn

Kevin, there aren't words strong enough to let you know how much I miss you. Its been a week since you've been gone and already it seems like a lifetime without you. I will never forget the great times we had together, the laughs we shared, the music we got each other into, and the way just bumping into you when you would go to the laundromat, would make my day so much better. I'm so glad you came to Hampton this year, I made it a point to hang out with you as much as I possibly could. All I have left to say is that I hope they have NewPorts in Heaven. Haha.. You were my best friend/cousin, and my favorite brother that I never had. I miss you so much, and I know that your looking down on all of us, with a smile on your face...
I love you man...

Kevin-

I can remember the first day we met in Peers Helping Peers class. I was drawn to your permanent smile and contagious laughter. It was then that we become friends. You always made class fun with your jokes even if it got you in trouble. I remember teasing you about how you used to rub peach lotion into your hair because you liked the way it smelled! We never had a dull day in class with you there. I will miss you.

August 26, 2009

Tony and I are still in disbelief. Even if you don't talk to someone everyday, I guess you still expect them to always be there and think that at any point in time you could shoot them a text or call them.

Kevin, you were the sweetest soul and you always made me smile, and you always noticed the little things that Tony never did- lol. You loved Bill so much, your family, friends, life. I'm so sad for them and for us, there will never be another you. We will always cherish the great memories we have of you! We will make sure your God daughter knows what an awesome person you were.

To the McLean family, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Kevin. You will all be in our prayers.

Kevin.

Hi it's Jamie's sister. You came to my house with Bill awhile back. When Jamie told me I was shocked and stood in my kitchen and pictured you smiling and laughing that contagious laugh. You went on and on about your sister and your family and how much they meant to you. I had a lot of people over that night but you stood above all, gave me a big hug, and it was as if I knew you my whole life. You were kind, funny and it's those bright eyes that I will always remember...

I send my deepest regrets to Bill and The McLean family

August 25, 2009

My favorite memory of Kevin, besides his radiant smile, was when we were 16 driving around in Leslie's little red Mazda. The radio didn't work in that car so Kevin decided to be our radio. He busted out singing Man In the Mirror at the top of his lungs. Of course, he made us all laugh that day and so many other times. Ever since that day, I think of Kevin every time I hear that song and it puts a big smile on face. I hope the entire family, Ginny, Paul Sr, Paul, Brian, Katie and Matt can find a moment to smile while remembering Kevin at this tragic time. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. All my best.

Words can not even begin to express how deeply saddened we are at this time. Kevin was a great friend full of energy and always made us smile and laugh. My funniest memory is when our son couldn't pronounce chocolate milk and called it Mockey Moo instead and Kevin would get him all excited and they would go back and forth saying mockey moo! He was always happy to see our kids and we were always happy to see him. We will miss you very much and are happy to have had you in our lives. God bless the Mclean family and may God give you the strength to get by in this difficult time.

Rest in peace Kevin...

"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. August 25, 2009

My thoughts and prayers go out to the McLean family. Our childhood experiences growing up with Kevin and the McLean kids was that of a story or maybe a comedy movie with all the crazy things we did. Kevin was always so much fun and always full of energy. He was a great friend.

I can remember our times together as if they happened days ago; staying out "till the street lights came on" although often later, forts in the woods, running around the neighborhood. Kevin and I recently got back in touch just a few months ago, it was great to hear from him.

Kevin will always live on in our hearts and memories.

Amarilis Morales

August 25, 2009

Oh Kevin, I just can't comprehend the fact that you're gone. I always looked forward to coming home and seeing your car parked in front of the house after a long day of work because I knew that you would be able to put a smile on my face. I love you so much, you were such an amazing brother to me. I looked up to you and the way that you were so kind and thoughtful about everything. I'm going to miss you so much on my wedding day, I wish, with all of my heart, that you could have been there. Thank you for accepting me into your family without any hesitation, you loved me like a sister from day one and it meant so much to me. You have this aura about you Kev, everyone who had crossed paths with you at anytime immediately fell in love with your personality. I love you so much and I miss you more than you will ever know. I know that you're shining down on us. I will love you and miss you everyday for the rest of my life.

Kevin....

What can I say..I met you a long time ago when you, Lydia and Kate were always together, I would see you at the gas station when I went for my car oil changes way back then. YOU WERE ALWAYS SMILING..

Our most recent encounter was on 08/08/09 at my house to celebrate the engagement of my daughter Millie and your brother Brian.. You were so excited to meet your soon to be nieces Aliarah and Hope and once you did you were amazed..
Our family was together that day and you were so excited at this and it showed in your smile... You played with Hope over and over until it was time for uncle Brian to do it as you nicely redirected Hope to do so..

Sunday, you were coming to Hope's birthday but God called you to be with him instead.

We will miss you but will never forget you. You will always be in our hearts and I will for ever remember your smile and your love for life and your family..

Kenny Monteiro

August 25, 2009

Kevin, you have no idea how much our hearts are breaking in missing you. But they are also filled with all the wonderful memories we have had with you.
You were a light that shined so brightly wherever you were, and I know you will continue to shine that light on all of us from up above.
You could bring a smile to anyone's face with just your presence, and your laugh was contagious. I will remember it always.
Though I'm only a cousin by marriage...you were, without a doubt, my family. Anytime we were together over all the years that I have know you, it was nothing but "good times" and good laughs...so many amazing memories made that I will never forget.
You hold such a special place in my heart and always will. As I told several...you were one of my favorite people in the whole world...and that will never change. I loved you like a brother, and will hold you in my heart forever.
When I look at the stars I will know that your light is shining down for all of us. You were amazing and will be so terribly missed.
Until next time, my friend.
I love you.

To the McClean family, My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time. I haven't seen Kevin in years but will always remember him from Franklin School. He was a good friend to me back then and I will always remember him.

Kevin

* You will be forever in our hearts, For everything you were. You made everyone laugh at any given time. You instilled in everyone that nothing truly matter but family and " Good Times". Family get togethers will never be the same " Good times" without you there with us! I love you!

We did not see each other often but my last memory of you was just last week watching you bring buckets and buckets of water up and down the beach building castles with your cousins. I remember thinking not every guy would want to spend their vacation time with their little cousins but you could just tell you were enjoying yourself as much as they were :)

You will be missed. Growing up with Kevin, we had a lot of memories running around causing trouble in the neighborhood. I remember working with you over at the Sunoco gas station for a few summers too. It was pleasure to have known you. It is sad to know you have left this world. I have nothing but my deepest sympathy for the Mclean family. May God be with you in this trying time.

To most people Kevin was a son, grandson, partner, nephew, cousin, friend, future uncle, brother in law and most importantly a brother. He all meant something different to each of us but left one thing in common for us to share forever, our love for him.

Just a few words to describe Kevin….. friendly, funny, sweet, sensitive, outgoing, kind, and most important generous.

Kevin had a special way about him that in you would always remember him just after one encounter. It didn’t matter if you knew him for 27 minutes or for 27 years he would always make a lasting impression on you. He was so outgoing and friendly that people felt how much he cared about life through one conversation. He would always let you know how much he loved you and was happy for all your accomplishments.

He had this way of making people gravitate towards him. Most of us would say that the night wasn’t complete unless Kevin was there. Kevin always made a grand entrance to any function he would attend. Walking in the room with a grin on his face from ear to ear and laughing as looked around at of us. It showed us just how much he enjoyed being around people. If you had a horrible day Kevin would be the perfect candidate to make it all go away.

The memory of Kevin is a gift we can all cherish for rest of our lives. We were lucky to have known you, little bro. The ones who did not missed out on knowing an angle that graced the earth. You will always be in our hearts. Until the start of the next life Kev you will be deeply missed.
