Hey brother.. It sure is different without you here..my world is definitely darker without you in it..I trust that God is taking care of you now and I know that you are truly watching over us..and of course smiling because I honestly don't remember a time when you were not smiling..we have all shed many tears since you left and I am sure we always will when we let our sadness through..but after I wipe my tears that I shed now I am going to choose to remember your words.."no worries" and smile for you...because you are loved...today and forever

I just learned yesterday that Larry passed away and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I worked with him at Radcliffe for 3 years. Shortly after I started working at Radcliffe, I attended a Britney Spears concert at the Garden - I walked into my section and there was Larry! I was mortified that a colleague knew of my guilty pleasure. He and I shared laughs about that over the years, and he was always quick with a smile. His kindness will not soon be forgotten by the many people who knew Larry as the gentle co-worker and friend. I am so sorry for your loss of a husband, father, brother, son. Larry was a truly special guy.

August 22, 2012

To the Post family,
I am one of the many fortunate people that worked with Larry at the Garden. I have a Daughter and Son serving in the US Navy, not a night would pass without Larry asking me "how are the sailor's" I will forever miss Larry and discussing his time in the Navy.
Most of all I will miss seeing his smile.

God Bless you,

Bernie King

All my best wishes to Larry's family in this difficult time. May you find a bit of comfort in the way he brighted so, so many people's days. He will be missed.

Larry was the best uncle anyone could have asked for. My brother, sister and I always felt so loved and supported by him, like a second father.
Larry was more than a brother to my father, he was his best friend. He was there at all the big moments in my life with a smile and a joke and for that I am so grateful. I only wish our family could have held on to him longer, his life was far too short.
My heart aches for Susan, Sam, Sean, Nana Kay, my dad and all of us whose lives will never be the same without the light and laughter that Larry brought with him.
He will be sorely missed.

First and foremost I would like to send my condolences to the Post family and that I am deeply sorry for your loss. Larry was a great man and I'm fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with him at the Garden. Him always saying "ruuuubeeen" every time I seen him had me laughing always. He was a very caring man always asking me how my sister was. One of the best people in that entire building. He can always put a smile on your face. May you rest in peace and God bless you..

He will be greatly missed!

I graduated from Matignon with Larry and was shocked and saddened to hear of his sudden passing. My condolences to his entire family. Rest in peace Larry.

Larry..there are no words that i can put together to describe what you mean to me. You were never my brother in law...always my brother and as your brother in law Jim called you "his Buddy Larry"! My heart is completely broken and I know my world is forever changed without you in it. I had total respect for you for the man you were but most importantly for the husband you were to my sister, the father you were to my nephews and the son you were to my mother...yes,you were her son..never son in law. You were always there for your own mom in every way and for your brothers, and Ginny,Fran and all your nieces and nephews. You are truly one of the best people I have ever had im my life, and one of the most important. I remember meeting you for the first time when you were taking my sister to the movies on on one of your first dates..I remember you helping me with my algebra homework in high school..I remember our time in Ireland together..and just the best times cooking out in your back yard....all the birthdays and holidays we shared together..I can go on about all our times together..every single memory i will treasure. You made my wedding day very special for me..in fact you made every day special for me because you took care of my big sister and raised my two wonderful strong nephews into manhood. They will continue to make you proud because you taught them to be true gentlemen. My sisters heart will forever have a hole in it because you had to leave too soon but know we will take care of her and Sam and Sean until we all meet again..I will always be so proud of you and forever glad that I was blessed by God to have such a special man , the one and only Larry Post as part of my life. This world has truly lost one the best..and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I LOVE YOU BROTHER and I know you will forever be smiling down on us..I just wish you could still be here ..because I already miss you terribly. I will talk to you again soon

Thank you for that. My deepest sympathy to your family for this huge loss. May your memory be eternal.

To the Post Family,
Sadly, I only knew Larry from the Boston Garden and would see him occasionally either at the beginning of the nightly event or at the end. No matter what happened, be it good or bad, I always saw Larry with a smile on his face. We would exchange greetings and that infectious smile and his warm personality would always bring out the good in others. Larry will be missed by many and by many more that only briefly knew him. When I think of Larry he will continue to bring that smile to my face. Please accept my condolences and know that Larry is in my thoughts and prayers.

During the 2 years that I worked at Radcliffe, Larry never failed to brighten up my day. He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell about the family he loved so much. Dear Sue, Sam and Sean, Every so often I'd see Larry in Harvard Square. It was just a coincidence. I'd be parking my car on Brattle Street and when I got out there was Larry! We'd talk for a minute about Kiwanis, sports or just "nice to see you". And then he'd be off, doing his job. Bumping into Larry so unexpectedly was always a pleasant surprise because it's nice to see your friends, even for a quick moment. The funny thing is I'm in the Square often and there were many times when I'd park my car and Larry wasn't on Brattle Street, but I'd look around anyway, just to check. And once in a while, I'd even see him walking into a building, but it was too late to call out. Larry was a good guy and it's impossible to imagine he's gone. But I feel like we'll all be bumping into Larry a lot. I know I'll be looking for him the next time I park on Brattle Street. I think we'll all have our "Larry moments" which will last a lifetime. With love, Bob Nissenbaum
