LEO PAGE Obituary

PAGE, Leo L. Age 94, a resident of Wilton, NH, died at his home on March 25, 2022 surrounded by his loving family after a period of declining health.

He was born on September 28, 1927 in Ware, MA, a son of the late Edward and Blanche (Pigeon) Page. He was drafted into the Merchant Marines following high school, serving from 1945 to 1947. He then enlisted in the United States Army and faithfully served his country in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1953 with the rank of Sergeant.

He had resided in Wilton since 1969, moving from Chelmsford, MA to settle in Wilton, a small community he loved so very much. Leo, a commercial pilot and retired captain for Eastern Airlines, saw the world through his piloting career and made many friends along the way.

Survivors include his loving wife, Kathleen Joyce-Page from Galway, Ireland; his surviving two children; Steve Page and Susan Barnhart; his grandchildren, David, Julie, April, Maria, Benjamin, Camilla, Emma, Lauren, Christopher and Alexander, 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth, Dottie, Joan and many nieces, nephews, cousins and colleagues. Leo was predeceased by his sister Betty, brothers Rene, George, Robert and his oldest son John who passed in 2017.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, MILFORD, NH 03055. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick's Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH. Burial with military honors will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wilton, NH.
