Wow, it is almost a year and I only found out now of Lisa's passing. We met in India at the International Permaculture Conference and travelled together a bit. What a special lady. I wonder in what capacity she is weaving her magic now.

I met Lisa at a Land Trust Conference in Salt Lake City a few years back. Our conversation is one I will cherish for a lifetime. I knew I had met someone incredibly special. I am so sorry to learn of her passing.

I worked with Lisa for many years at the Lincolnm Institute of Land Policy. She was a lovely, smart, funny, and very compassionate person who felt life deeply. It is so sad to think she is gone. Aloha, Lisa.

I worked with Lisa at Lincoln Institute for many years. She was a lovely, smart, funny, and very compassionate person who felt life very deeply. It's terribly sad to think she is gone, but she did seem happier in Hawaii. I would like to know of any celebration or tribute to Lisa.

I knew Lisa when she was at the GSD. I loved her and she had the respect of quite a few faculty. I remember when Carl Steinitz told me that she had written the best paper he had ever read (and he had been teaching for a long time). I so appreciated her honesty, wry sense of humor during her time here. She was a brilliant student. I received an email from another faculty member, Gary Hilderbrand, who told me she had passed on. He also had very fond memories. I am so sorry to read this news, although it made me so happy to read what she had been doing, and only imagining how much she must have been enjoying herself. I would love to hear about a future celebration. She was so special.

Lisa was aware of her special gifts and dedicated them to the protection of the natural world.
We will always cherish our memories of her, a free spirit, an inspiration, a beloved friend.
