Of Mansfield, formerly of Dedham, July 10, 2007. Beloved wife of John D. "Jack" Strand. Devoted mother of Christine E. Cook of Taunton and Susan J. Seifert and Jennifer L. Rogers both of Mansfield. Dear sister of Pauline McGrath of Norwood, Richard Girard of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Beverly Moore of Dedham, Vincent Girard of Westwood, Stephen Girard of Mansfield, Barbara Civitarese of Hudson, New Hampshire, Russell Girard of Norwood and the late Eugene, Bernard and Henry Girard. Also survived by her 4 cherished granddaughters, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., MANSFIELD, on Friday, July 13th, at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8 P.M. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Mansfield.
