LUCY WHITE DEAN

DEAN, Lucy White Of Wayland, formerly of Scituate, MA. Passed away at Parlin Hospice House after an illness. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Neil J. Dean of Wayland; and daughter, Elizabeth of Marlborough, MA. She was a graduate of Thayer Academy, '61 and Colby-Sawyer College, '65. Lucy was a Medical Technologist at the Deaconess Hospital from 1965 to 1989. Lucy served as Chair of the New England Unit of the Herb Society of America from 1996 to 1998. An active member of the Sudbury Savoyards from 1990 to 2020, she played the roles of chorus member, Costume Designer and Costume Construction Chief. As a long-time member of the Memorial Congregational Church in Sudbury, she was a Sunday school teacher. She helped organize church fairs and Children's Sunday.
