I didn't know Malcolm, only of him. I am a second cousin. My mother was Cecilia McLean, daughter of Malcolm McLean and Christine McKinnon. I think once as a small child I went to his parents house in Wellesley. I knew my grandaunt Mary, who worked for many years at Wellesley College and her sister Anne and husband Roderick Cash, who lived in Jamaica Plain.
I wish I knew he was still alive and learned more about him and his family.

I worked with Mal for in the early 90's at stop and shop at the the Quintree mall when I was 16 years old. I knew when it was 5:00 Mal would be coming in as the night front end manager! He was a very nice man who was always very helpful. Godspeed Mal.

Thank you Mal for being such a good neighbor. Your smile and warmth will stay with Jim and I. AND, Henry and Zack will miss you ball tossing! (and I thank you for being there, it was comforting to know you were so close)
