O'BRIEN, Margaret M. (Devonshire) "Peggy" Of Braintree, passed away October 30, 2022, with her devoted family by her side. Peggy was born in Boston to the late Robert and Margaret Devonshire. She was a graduate of Dorchester High School. Peggy enjoyed traveling and treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren who she lovingly referred to as "her babies". Beloved wife of the late Eugene J. O'Brien; loving mother of Stephen E. O'Brien of Braintree, Mark J. O'Brien and Kristina of Braintree, and Paul M. O'Brien and Jennifer of Randolph; dear sister of Carol Smith of SC and the late John Devonshire, Robert Devonshire, Dorothy Martin, and Eileen Devonshire. Cherished Nannie to Matthew, Christopher, Lauren, Evan and Benjamin O'Brien. Also survived by many nieces and nephews that she adored. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, November 6th, from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH, 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). On Monday, November 7th, a Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree, at 10 AM.
