Today marks the five-year anniversary of the passing of my sister Margo.
I miss Margo terribly and think of her daily. I could not have had a more loving, charming, giving and generous person as a sister.
I love you Margo immeasurably.

Sometimes working on a family geneology you find sad news. I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to meet Margo - I remember her parents. Donnie, if you're still in NoVa this is your cousin Renee from Reston. It's been about 30 years- please get in touch.

The six of us have had only each other as first cousins. Margo, of course, has always been the shining star. We are all related via two sisters - Sue Simon and Ellen Knopf. No matter how much time passes, there is no filling the void that Margo has left. I love you so much Margo.

Margo loved her family so much and we were indeterminably blessed to have her in our lives. And regardless of the toll that this abominable disease constantly placed on her, Margo tirelessly troubled herself with the welfare and concerns of her family. I love you and miss you so much, Margo.

Margo had such a special relationship with our Mom. Aside from calling each other every day, they shared wonderful experiences traveling together - such as their trip to Germany and seeing the street and neighborhood in Duisburg-Hamborn where our Mom spent her formative years. That adventure with Margo to Germany was such a great memory for our Mom. Thank-you Margo for being so giving always. I love you so much.

Don,
I am so so sorry to hear about Margo´s passing. She left us far too soon. We exchanged a couple emails over the years, and had hoped she wasn´t suffering in the past couple years. Growing up with Margo, she was kind, friendly, and supportive. She was clearly accomplished in her career and passion projects, and didn´t let cancer hold her back. She was goodness through and through.
Warmly,
Karyl
