Dear Barnes Children, loyal spouses and beautiful grandchildren of Marie.
I want you to know that your mother/grandmother was an ispiration to me as I was blessed to work for the family for 12 years. She was both tough and kind and gave me the gift of being loyal and hard working, as a result of that I have been successful and valuable employee in my food service career. She inspired me to go to college at 31 for culinary as I was so in awe of her cooking style. My family will always be loyal customers of Bellas as the food is as wonderful as it always has been. I will miss her table visits and she will be always in my heart as most influential women I have ever met. Love you Marie!!
Sincerely

It was so sad reading about Marie and Louise in the same obituary page. Will never forget the kindnesses she showed me after marrying into the Richardi family. I think of her quite often when I stay at the Holiday Inn in Rockland. She was the shear description of a lady.

Frankie and family...
I am so sorry for your loss..I loved your mom she was such a nice, beautiful lady. She would always come out of the busy kitchen to say hello and send a nice bottle of wine to the table, it made me feel so special. I got the pleasure to see Asia again after years, the other day at our football banquet, what a beautiful lady she has become, your grandmother must be so proud of you Asia.

Hopefully your wonderful memories of such a outstanding woman will help you in the coming days. My prayers are with you all.

Marie,
Words are not enough to encompass all of the things you represented to me but I'm certain that I'm only one of so many people who has been forever moved and influenced by you.
Your indomitable Spirit and
ceaseless devotion to those you loved,
your candid way with words, your kindness, your tireless work ethic, loyalty to friends and family and generosity of Spirit all made you so inspirational and so special.
Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't also mention your extraordinary beauty and style ;)... outwardly obvious to anyone who saw you but, for those of us that knew you, only magnified by your equally beautiful heart and soul.

Rest In Peace to the singular and remarkable Marie. You'll forever have my love and respect, cousin. xo
