FONZI, Marie (Corvino) Of Peabody, formerly of Georgetown and Everett, July 13, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Riccardo V. Fonzi with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Loving mother of Richard and his wife Robin of Seabrook, NH, the late Michael V. Fonzi, Paula and Robert Giangregorio of Newburyport, MA. Nancy and Brian Nazzaro of North Reading, MA, Gregory and Tracey of Ipswich, MA. Cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Angela Sohn and her husband Gerald and Joan Zollo. Predeceased by her parents Pasquale and Rose Corvino and her siblings, Nancy Ingemi, Frances, Nicholas, Patricia Gianatassio, Pasquale and Robert. Also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Marie worked many years as a banquet waitress working her way up to managerial positions at both Everett and Matignon High School. She was a proud member of St. Mary's women's club in Georgetown, MA. She loved spending time at Foxwoods Casino and the North Shore music hall. While living her later years, Marie enjoyed playing bingo with her many friends at Brooksby Village. Visiting Hours: Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Marie's Funeral Mass on Monday morning, July 18th at 11 am to be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Andover Street, Georgetown. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 to 8 pm in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, GEORGETOWN.
