MARION COHEN Obituary

Cohen, Marion Cleveland Granddaughter of former president Grover Cleveland, died on February 21 at age 87. Marion was the daughter of Francis Grover Cleveland and Alice Pardee Erdman who founded The Barnstormers Theatre in Tamworth, New Hampshire in 1931. She attended Friends Seminary in New York, Smith College and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She entered the travel business in New York and in 1968 she married Fred Cohen and settled in Rome. The couple moved to Baltimore in 1973 where Marion was an active volunteer and supporter for Planned Parenthood, the Baltimore Zoo, the Smith College Book Sale and Animal Rescue. In 2008, Marion moved to Tamworth. A memorial service is planned for summer. Donations in her memory may be sent to The Barnstormers Theatre, PO Box 434, Tamworth, NH 03886.
