I just heard from Holy Cross that Marty had passed away. He was my first roommate at Holy Cross, a part of my wedding and one of the special people God gave me during my life here on earth.
I shared my first beer with him and tons of stories. He was an incredible listener, and always so positive and generous. I spoke with Marty a couple of years ago just to say hello, and as always my day was made better just from hearing his voice.
My dear friend you will be missed. I just wish I was a better friend in return.
See you someday down the road- Ed Greissing, McLean, Virginia and HC '72

Marty, Marty, Marty: we hardly knew ye.
It has been one week since I received the news of your passing and I am still in a state of shock. It seems somewhat surreal. I started thinking of all the years we knew each other (which approximate 20). There are so many memories—the Lynde Street years, you holding court at gatherings at my home, your house, the big ol’ barn, your 50th birthday party, Fourth of July and, of course, your car. I shall miss you bounding through my front door, always bearing gifts, jubilantly proclaiming, “Hi everybody!” Yes, so many memories but way too little time.
Rest in peace, Martin J. McNulty. We shall meet again some day.

I am so sorry for your families loss. Marty was a friend of my mothers, and I always enjoyed when he would come over our house. He truly cared for others, and was a great person. He will be truly missed.

He took pride in his legal work. I appreciate the attention he paid to case details. He accepted people for who they are and is well liked. Thanks.

I am very sorry to read about the death of Marty. I always liked him. His age of 56 is just too young.

Marty, we are missing you so much every day! We can't believe that you are gone and we will not hear any more of your marvelous stories and hear your wonderful laugh. Your personality was bigger than life and there is a huge void in our world where you should be.
