Mary Ann Donnelly-Patterson

Of Amelia Island, Florida passed away on December 26. A native of New Britain, CT, she resided in Acton, MA for many years before moving to Amelia Island in 1997. Ms. Patterson was a partner in Marden & Patterson Realtors, Concord, MA, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for several Sheraton Inns, managed by Inncorp of Andover, MA; she was also General Manager for The Beechwood Inn, Worcester, MA and The Wellesley Inn on the Square, Wellesley, MA; and enjoyed recent positions at Amelia Island Plantation and Elisabeth Point Inn. She served on the board of directors and as President of the New England Chapter of Meeting Professionals International. She was a member of Nashawtuc Country Club, Concord, MA, Maynard Country Club, Maynard, MA and Fernandina Golf Club, Amelia Island, FL. She graduated from Mt. St. Joseph's Academy, West Hartford, CT and the College of New Rochelle, NY. She is survived by five children: Linda Artley of Naperville, IL; Robert F. Patterson, III of Atkinson, NH; Stephen C. Patterson of Winchester, MA; Pamela J. Krasnigor, husband Scott, of Moorestown, NJ; and Mark M. Patterson, wife Donna, of Ivoryton, CT. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Stephen Donnelly, MD and Gertrude Walter. She also leaves three brothers: Stephen Donnelly, Jr. of Westbrook, CT; J. Michael Donnelly of Lake George, NY; and Philip B. Donnelly of Kent Island, MD. Calling hours are Monday Dec. 29th from 6-8 PM at the Oxley-Heard Funeral Home, FERNANDINA BEACH and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church at 11 AM on Dec, 30th.
