MARY GUREVICH Obituary
(DiGiandomenico) Of Newton Center, May 23rd in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Gurevich. Loving mother of Roberta A. Monihan and her husband Roland of Needham and the late Joan M. Danahy and the late Dorothy Gurevich. Grandmother of Susan, Kevin, Brian, Michelle, Stephen, Kerri and Cheryl. Also survived by 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Avenue, NEEDHAM, Friday at 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Needham at 12 noon. Visitation prior to the Mass from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham. Just discovered this notice long after. Mary was my second Mom when we lived at 18 Carlisle Place. She often looked after me when my folks were at work. She was a wonderful person and her home was always a warm and welcoming place. Bob & Mary were great friends with my folks and we missed them dearly when we moved in 1959. All the best to Roberta and her family.

When I was growing up, Mary always treated me like she was my mother.
Her beautiful smile welcomed everyone, like they were the most important person in the world. She was one of the kindest and sweetest persons I've ever known.
I'll miss stopping by 112 Carlisle to say hello to her.
God bless her, and my deepest condolences to you Roberta!
